Master Russ Lewis

Master Lewis has been teaching Tae Kwon Do since 1991 and opened his own school in 1995. He is a native of Carteret County and attended college at East Carolina University. During the mid-90's he trained at the Olympic Training Center.

He was on the National Tae Kwon Do Team eight times, won several national titles and two World Championships. These days Master Lewis is stepping back from competition to focus on running Elite Martial Arts Academy. It has been his life-long dream to successfully own a full-time Tae Kwon Do school that provides quality martial arts to the community from which he grew up in.

Master Lewis serves on the Universal Martial Arts Association's Advisory Board and is the style representative for WTF Tae Kwon Do.
